At Sonrise Christian High School, we see education as a calling. We don’t just prepare students for college—we prepare them for eternity. Our commitment to academic excellence is deeply rooted in our faith and our belief that each student is created for a unique purpose.
We maintain small class sizes to provide personalized instruction and build strong relationships between students and staff. Our curriculum is carefully selected to meet state graduation requirements while aligning with our biblical worldview. We are proudly accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), with 9th-grade accreditation in progress.
Freshmen will begin with foundational classes and honors-level work. After their first year, students can take college-level courses through Dual Enrollment or Advanced Placement (AP) programs, setting them up for success in higher education.
In their freshman year, students will participate in a dedicated SOAR class four days a week, designed to help them uncover their God-given strengths, explore their interests, and begin building essential life skills.
Through interactive lessons, leadership development, biblical study, and career exploration among others, students will gain valuable insight into how their unique gifts can be used to serve others and honor God. Guest speakers, real-world projects, and spiritual guidance will support each student’s journey as they grow in confidence and begin to shape a vision for their future.
At Sonrise, academics aren’t just about facts – they’re about formation. We’re preparing students for the world ahead with truth, excellence, and vision.
