First Day of School for the Founding Class

Years from now, we’ll look back and remember how it all began: the very first day of high school at Sonrise Christian High School. A single group of 9th graders walked onto campus not just as students, but as pioneers. They were the class that laid the foundation, set the tone, and shaped the future of our high school.

They showed up with courage, faith, and a willingness to lead, knowing they were building something bigger than themselves. There were no upperclassmen to follow: just vision, community, and the belief that something great was beginning.

Those early days were filled with firsts: the first class meeting, first chapel, first lunch outside together. These students didn’t just attend Sonrise Christian High School, they defined it.

And because of their spirit, their leadership, and their faith, generations of students will now have a place to learn, grow, and thrive. It will all start with them!
